Blessed on Top of Blessed....

Hey everyone. It has been a while since I have blogged. I'm back. Been working hard and guess what I am actually going to start on some school work this weekend so I won't be in the same situation as last time. I have been blessed a lot over the last couple weeks and I owe it all to God. I am so glad that he knows the desires of my heart and know what burdens me. I know that I can depend on him when all else may fail. The Lord never leaves our side. I have so much confidence in the word of God and his teachings. I read and meditate daily so that I can be closer to God. Sometimes I think the devil tries to mess up your flow of plans. He may say to you, don't read the bible now. Read it later. We can procrastinate with God. He comes on time for us. We must do the same with him. No excuses when it comes to the Lord.

On a more personal level. I got a major break through on some bills. I am so blessed and thankful along with really being Humbled by God's work on my life. I just wanted to let people know that you may think your in the worse situation health wise, financially and etc. First off there is someone out there worse than you, secondly if you give it to God he will take care of it just in time. He gives us things that maybe trouble us for a reason. How will we appreciate good if we don't have some bad?

I have really decided this year to make some well needed changes in my life because I have been through so much. I want to be more relaxed and calm. I talked about in a previous post about being humble and finding peace. Everyday is not going to go as planned. It would not be called life if everything was simple. I just hope that I am able to reach out to people around the world that can relate to me. I mostly want to inspire someone. Please always remember to believe in God. Place him in your life. Life is so much meaningful when you have a relationship with Christ. He will never forsake you.

I hope everyone has a blessed and love filled valentines day. We had a little party at work today. I got a lot of candy and little valentine cards. It is those simple things that makes me smile and be so thankful. Every year I use to go out and buy myself candy and stuffed animals for valentines day. I thought if no man would make me happy on earth God gave me the ability to provide for myself. I love me and God loves me more.

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7 Speak up to the devil in the name of Jesus. "Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." Jesus said, "I am with you [always]."

I had so many plans for the new year. Brought out my one year Bible to read, been prayerful and planning to build and everlasting foundation with Christ. Saturday I began to vomit, chills, body aches with headache, feeling weak and helpless. Sunday I started to feel a little better then Monday Fever, chills and the same painful symptoms raised again. All of this had me sleeping, and not being able to do what I have been planning due to feeling and being so weak. I learned I had a stomach virus with other Asthma issues as usual. The further I get behind in the word the devil tries to say it will be to much for me and I will never finish reading the bible or doing the meditation that I have planned.

He makes you try to disconnect your self away from you plans, life, and mostly Christ. I refuse to let the devil steal my desire, plans, life or meditation and love for Christ. The devil can not heal me, protect me or give me the desires of my heart so why do we let him control and get in our mind at times. I rebuke satin in the name of JESUS. I will read my daily scriptures and the ones I have missed reading. I will go on with my plans without any more hesitation because God is working on my body and providing me the desires of my heart. God will never leave or forsake me and with that being said I will never stop trying hard at what I know I need to do in my life. God has a plan for me and I am on the road and will continue to follow the path he has created for me to follow.

In life things will not always be the way we want them to be or plan them to be. We can't live by our understandings but we have to live by God's understandings and what he has for us. I will continue to move forward in Christ. I just wanted to share this message with you all. I do need to rest my body so I can have a full recovery and feel better for work Thursday. God bless you all. Oh by the way. I found 2 really nice Christian networks that I joined recently.

I am so excited to meet new friends and more so just humble Christians that accept all people no matter what.

Daily Inspiration-January 1st-2nd

Today my Dad came down which was refreshing. He brought a book to my attention of Smith Wigglesworth which was a man who served God and laid hands of healing upon people. I was touched by the stories and his power that God gave him. I wanted to share some quotes by him and also other people that spread the word of God. Enjoy!

There are four principles we need to maintain: First, read the Word of God. Second, consume the Word of God until it consumes you. Third believe the Word of God. Fourth, act on the Word." Smith Wigglesworth-

I've tried everything and nothing helps. I'm at the end of my rope. Is there no one who can do anything for me? Isn't that the real question? Romans 7:24 (MSG)
"The very fact that God sent a Savior means you need one."
Have you figured out yet that a lot of times you are your own worst enemy?  It's your own reactions, your own fears, your own inadequacies that cause you to act in foolish ways. I know that's true for me.
I need to be saved from myself because there are things I don't like about me - things I wish I had done differently, things I'd like to change. But I can't change them, not on my own power. I need an outside power source.

You may be saying, "I can change." I hate to say this, but you can't. Every year about this time, we make a list of New Year's resolutions. But, by the end of January, that list will be in the dumpster. Why? Because you can't change on your own; you need God's power. You need a Savior, someone who can make the changes you can't make yourself.

Let me make an important point here: God never wastes energy. He doesn't waste effort on things that are unnecessary. In other words, if you didn't need a Savior, he wouldn't have sent one. The very fact that God sent a Savior means you need one.

The truth is, if you are honest about it, sometimes you feel like your life is out of control. That's a pretty common feeling. Welcome to the human race!

The apostle Paul felt that way 2,000 years ago. Paul says this in the Bible: "I've tried everything and nothing helps. I'm at the end of my rope. Is there no one who can do anything for me? The answer, thank God, is that Jesus Christ can and does" (Romans 7:24-25 MSG).That's the answer!

You may be looking for salvation in the wrong places, that's why you're frustrated. You're looking for that one thing that's going to give you fulfillment and meaning and peace in life.

Some of us think that if we could just get married, or if we could just get a certain job, or a promotion, or attain a certain level of wealth, or have a baby - or if our babies would grow up and graduate! - things would be great.

You're looking in the wrong places. The answer is not in a place. It's not in a program or a pill. The answer is a person: Jesus Christ. You were made by God and for God, and until you understand that, life is never going to make sense.

For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 1 Corinthians 2:2 (NIV)
(This devotional is by Jon Walker, editor of the Daily Hope Devotionals  and author of Costly Grace: A Contemporary View of Bonhoeffer's 'The Cost of Discipleship.')
Today you may be thinking about New Year's resolutions? You know, those lists we make with two scoops of optimistic enthusiasm, sprinkled with unrealistic expectations, and topped with the cherry of knowing the list isn't serious anyway.
But there is one guy who I suspect played for keeps when he made New Year's resolutions -- that zealot who could never do anything halfway, the let's-get-real-about-our-faith apostle Paul.
My thought is Paul only had one resolution on his New Year's list: "This year I resolve to know nothing but Christ and him crucified" (1 Corinthians 2:2).
Paul's message is radically simple: Salvation is in Christ alone. What does this mean?
  • It's not Christ plus your good behavior.
  • It's not Christ plus the years you taught a Bible study.
  • It's not Christ plus your tithe.
  • It's not Christ plus the church you attend.
  • It's not Christ plus the number of verses you memorize.
  • It's not Christ plus your title in the church.
  • It's not Christ plus wisdom from the latest Christian seminar.
  • It's not Christ plus a desert fast (or even a dessert fast!).
  • It's not Christ plus a good driving record.
  • It's not Christ plus well-behaved children.
  • It's not Christ plus the right job.
  • It's not Christ plus the right spouse.
  • It's not Christ plus the latest technology.

It's simply Christ. Christ plus nothing.
That's Paul's message, a message that is as right throughout 2011 as it will be in 2999. May your resolution for this year be nothing but Christ and Him crucified.

Happy New Year

Wow! We have approached a new year what a blessing for so many reasons. I had intentions on posting some thoughts yesterday but I was very sick and today I still feel weak and I'm in bed as I will be most of the day. Perhaps I have some type of virus that has been going around. I still wanted to post my thoughts today. I have the biggest plan EVER!

Keeping God in my life daily without any hesitation on to busy etc. We have to keep God in our heart and soul every day. These fast and quick prayers just to say we have prayed for the night is just not working on meaningful in my book. I owe my life to God and I or nor should anyone else that believes in God be to tired or sleepy, to not pray in depth to God on our good and bad days. He deserves to be praised every day. I have joined a couple different sites where I have started a bible reading plan. Mostly the one year Bible. I also have a women's bible that is a one year bible. I am so excited to read daily and take time in my day to meditate the word and give thanks to God and just keep him and get him in my heart more than ever. We are responsible for stabilizing a relationship with God for all the RIGHT reasons.
I have decided that I want to meet more Christians because going back to my friend post I believe that you can find a better friend in one who has the same beliefs. In most and some ways. I true friend will love you no matter what you believe as well. I just want to be happy with life and with friendships. So I started the new year off with joining a couple different sites. This first one is a online Reading Bible plan. You can pick a reading plan to follow to ready the Bible daily. It's fun and exciting. It comes in many translations to fit the needs of any one.

Also http://www.crosswalk.com/ is a nice Christian website that I have joined as well. You can set up a free account and start a free Bible plan as well.

Also I joined a network that allows you to meet and talk with other Christians. I have seen a lot of younger people on the site but some older as well. It's a site for everyone.
http://www.faithfreaks.com/ It's set up kind of like My space in away but you set up a free profile and it's neat. I'm excited to connect with other Christians.

OK I have another personal website that I have been a member of for the last  6 months or so called
http://www.mydailystrength.org/ this site has helped me so much dealing with so many life issues. Health, relationships and so much more it's an online support group that reaches out o everyone dealing with every medical, emotional and life condition. It helps me daily get my feelings together and connects with other people that may be going through the same thing as me. I love this site.

Anymore I get tired of Face book, seeing peoples rude status messages, and talking about drinking etc. So I am trying to do some new things in my life for the new year.

Hope everyone has some good plans for the new year.
